Honored to have our Edgeland house featured in GA houses Masterpieces 2001-2015. A contemporary take on one of the oldest North American dwellings: the Native American pit house. The home is partially sunk into the ground and was excavated seven feet into the hillside. With its direct connection to the earth, it sits beside, the house creates a balance with the landscape — by simply extending it.
