Arrowhead House x GA Houses Project 2018

We are honored to have the Arrowhead House featured in GA Houses Project 2018, and shown at the GA gallery from March to May in Tokyo. Perched on a steep, heavily wooded slope in a hilly Austin neighborhood, the prismatic triangular form suggests an ancient Native American arrowhead discovered in the wilderness. The house hovers on slender columns above the tree canopy to maximize panoramic vistas while minimizing its disturbance of the flood-prone, hydrologically sensitive karst landscape of the Texas Hill Country.
