The Terrace Mountain House is situated on a picturesque slope in the West Lake Hills neighborhood of Austin with views onto the nearby downtown skyline.  Its form engages its hillside setting through a staggered composition of volumes that descend the slope under the singular sweep of an overhanging roof line.
